Synopsis
A young man from a small Kazakh village migrates to the big city. Initially sure of himself as he travels by bus and train, he meets a young woman he feels he could easily fall in love with. Later, in the city, he sees her again by accident and realizes that he already has lost his heart to her.
As a Civil War veteran spends years searching for a young niece captured by Indians, his motivation becomes increasingly questionable.
