Synopsis

During the summer before college, city girl Waverly finds herself in Holden, completely alienated by the local beach culture. Things start to look up when she meets the local lifeguard Blake, who welcomes her into his life. And when he finds out that she doesn’t know how to swim and takes it upon himself to teach her, she discovers a new world of possibilities which throws her carefully planned future into question.
