Synopsis
The Thomas family are the owners of a large horse ranch, on the borders of New Mexico. A neighboring band of Apaches, under the famous Geronimo, had for several years been at peace, consequently the Thomas ranch was in a flourishing condition. Tom, the foreman, and Jerry, one of his trusted lieutenants, are rivals for the hand of Jess, the ranch owner's daughter.
Lt. Col. Kirby Yorke is posted on the Texas frontier to defend settlers against depredations of marauding Apaches. Col. Yorke is under considerable stress by a serious shortage of troops of his command. Tension is added when Yorke's son (whom he hasn't seen in fifteen years), Trooper Jeff Yorke, is one of 18 recruits sent to the regiment.
The two brothers Trinity and Bambino are exchanged by two federal agents and take advantage of the situation to steal a huge booty hidden in a monastery by a gang of outlaws.
