189 is a phone number to call when a child needs to be saved from an abusive situation. Children and adults can call that number, where they will be connected with the nearest child consultation center. Taiga Sakamoto works as a rookie child welfare officer. A girl that he worked with is being sent back to her mother. The girl was abused by her mother and stayed at a shelter. The next day, she loses her life. Taiga thinks about quitting his job. At this time, he receives a phone call from the hospital. A doctor calls him and tells him that a six-year-old girl's wounds looks as if they were caused by physical abuse. The abuser is assumed to be her father, but the girl's father denies any wrongdoing. Taiga and Attorney Shion Akiba try to prove that the girl was abused by her father.

A drama in which Yasuko Sawaguchi starred in the movie for the first time in nine years since "Autumn Autumn" and played an elementary school teacher who loves children. Tomoyo Miki became a third-grade class teacher at the transferred elementary school. Children with a variety of circumstances, such as children with a "situation mood disorder" that cannot speak at all at school, and children with a lot of troubled behaviors who have a poor life due to the debt of their divorced mother and father. Three stories are told, respectively set in Tokyo, Taipei, and Shanghai. The first two stories are about a Japanese person and a Taiwanese person. The last one is set in Shanghai with a story about a Japanese man and a Chinese woman. Some of the characters can speak Japanese and some of them Mandarin. Each story encompasses an experience of a foreigner, either from Japan ,Taiwan or China, with a native of the opposite country.

Of course their twisted and sadomasochistic relationship will end in a sadistically explicit bloodbath... The version of "All Night Long 5" I have is in Japanese, but the above synopsis is general gist. I'm a big fan of Katsuya Matsumura and I absolutely love the first three "All Night Long" movies."All Night Long R" is also pretty good whilst still being deeply disturbing.Unfortunately "Initial O" is too long and sometimes dull, so I was a little bit disappointed.Still there is plenty of sex and some unsettling sexual torture on display. There is not enough gore,but some scenes (for example throat slashing or castration) are particularly nasty.
