Our story takes place at the end of the 1960s. Our hero is, therefore, forced to flee to the big city. He lives there illegally, at the harborers of outlaws for whom he once forged diplomas. But one day, Andjelko runs into his schoolmate...

"Menagerie" is a drama which takes place in the early 1990s, in one Serbian village near the coast of river Drina. It is a story about moral and historical breakdown of one country, located at a milieu separated from urban life, in an area that lives on specific rules and relationships between people. Srna, daughter of Strain, the most powerful man in the village, is promised for a wife to Jovan. Jovan is the son of a local forester Tadija, who, in return, allows Strain poaching and illegal cutting of village wood. Although there is attraction between Srna and Jovan, they still don't want to be married by the wish of their fathers. Suddenly Petar, the ex-forester who was seven years in jail for killing Strain's older son, returns to the village. His return changes lives of all characters in this story indicating the uncertain end of it.

Ustanička ulica is a Serbian political thriller. Dušan Ilić (Gordan Kičić), employed at the Serbian state prosecutor's office, gets a top secret case to investigate a war crime committed by a disbanded paramilitary unit. He manages to find Mićun (Uliks Fehmiu) who's the only surviving witness.

Through the intimate stories of seven young directors, October is the generational attitude towards Serbia today, shown in different perspectives and through different genres - from black comedy to melodrama, poetic portrait to the socially engaged horror. Motif that binds all of the stories together is the tenth anniversary of the democratic revolution. Each film is taking place on that day, 5th of October in 2010, and each film is differently related to the anniversary and what that event means 10 years after. The film brings fresh visions of the seven young directors who were teenagers at the time of the overthrow of president Milosevic and his regime. On a personal and emotional way they show a complex picture of modern Serbia.

Sailing up the Adriatic, the crew threatens mutiny when they learn they must dock in a war zone. Once in port, little goes as Riffaud promised, and Edoardo must travel with a translator to the rebels' mountain stronghold to get payment for the crew. The war is all around them as Clara waits at home and the translator begs passage to Italy.

The exploits of a depressed architect in Belgrade as he wanders about searching for the future in a land where the future no longer exists. Handsome Nikola is in his mid-thirties. In his mature years, Aleksa Santic engages himself passionately in social and political life of his age. Disappointments, poverty, sickness and loneliness follow. And the certainty of early death. His older brother tells the story of poet's life, while he is dying.

State security inspector Ivan reveals an inserted terrorists in Yugoslavia, sent there by Croatian emigrants, enemies of the above socialist state.
