A street vendor who lives in the outskirts of São Paulo returns home at night and does not find her teenager son. After a nonstop search, she finds out the boy was killed by the police and his body is missing. This is the beginning of this woman’s vertiginous fight for the right to bury her son, a fight that will not only unveil the excessive violence of one of most lethal police forces of the world, but also how structural is racism in Brazilian society.

An egotistical stand-up comedian fights with a spectator and gets fired. To be able to pay his son's pension, he decides to participate in a comedy group contest. Now he will need to work harmoniously with the rest of the team.

Roberto and Mitsuo return to Brazil on the same day, after a long season living abroad. Their lives intersect because of land negotiated by their parents in the past. Augusto is the chef of a fine restaurant, established for years, which is down due to the success of a former pupil, Patrick, who works in a food truck right in the square in front of the establishment. . Dr. Rafidjian, a renowned physician, seeks out Dora Lobo's detective agency, wishing to locate call girl Ana Cíntia Lopes. The case soon finds its way into the hands of Remo Bellini and his new assistant Beatriz; but the client's brutal murder changes the course of the investigation, leading the two detectives into high-risk situations. Trying to solve the crime, they canvas the nightlife of São Paulo's underworld, where they meet Fátima, a mysterious prostitute who becomes involved with Bellini. Based on the book of the same title by the writer and musician Tony Bellotto, who is also the film's co-producer and co-composer of the soundtrack, along with Charles Gavin, fellow member of the rock band Titãs, and Andreas Kiesser, of Sepultura.

Brazil in the early 70s. Miguel, Eloi, Osvaldo and Paolo take part in armed attacks against the military dictatorship. They pay a heavy price with torture and arrest. Today the four friends still see each other. Only Miguel is politically active. On a photograph from a political meeting in Sao Paolo he recognises the policeman who tortured them 25 years ago and who was responsible for the death of Miguel's girlfriend. The policeman has been officially dead for a few years. On one of their fishing trips together, Miguel tells his friends of his discovery. When they hunt down and confront their nemesis they come into conflict with both themselves and each other.

Rich executive being threatened by a burglar who had been caught trying to steal his mansion hires a hitman to kill him in prison. But another man is killed instead, leaving a widow and three kids. Full of remorse, he tries to help the family, taking everyone home. Soon, conflicts arise from the impossible coexistence of such contrasting families under the same roof.

A former boxer is hired to take care of an empty house in the Pacaembu neighborhood in São Paulo. The property is for sale and its function is received when purchased. On the first night on the job, he discovers that a woman and a daughter are living clandestinely in one of the mansion's rooms.
