Over 30 filmmakers and friends of Strand Releasing have come together to honor the company’s indelible contribution to independent cinema over the past thirty years. The participating filmmakers have each created a short film for the project, all shot on iPhones.

A musical celebrating queer cinema, which used the melody of “I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major General,” by the D’Oyly Carter Opera Company, but re-wrote the lyrics to depict queer cinema with a full choir.

Sarah Sparks is pregnant and feeling wholly ambivalent, despite her boyfriend's pure enthusiasm. A committed tech-geek, she fears she is more interested in ultrasound technology than in what's being ultra-sounded. When her sister lures her to L.A. for what ends up being a terrorizing baby shower, Sarah keeps her rental van and hits the road in search of the source of her anxiety: her estranged mother, now living off the grid. Small, Beautifully Moving Parts takes a comical, yet poignant look at one woman's coming-of-parenthood in the age of technology.

This Is Not A Test is a comedy/drama directed by Christopher Angel. The film is based around a man called Carl (Hill Harper) who's living his everyday life whilst trying to cope with his fear of terrorist nuclear attacks. However, with the threat so high he soon lets loose and jeopardizes his family and friends.
