Yusuf Islam, formerly Cat Stevens, played an exclusive TV/Radio Show at the Bayern 3-LiveClub, Munich, Germany on April 23, 2009, promoting his new album "Roadsinger". The six track show, plus two encores had its Radio broadcast on April 27, 2009. The television broadcast was on July 3, 2009.

But before that stand four years of work on a construction site of superlatives. The director Wolfgang Ettlich and his cameraman Hans-Albrecht Lusznat have followed the construction of the new Munich soccer arena since the first groundbreaking. They have recorded several phases of the construction and did thereby get to know the microcosmos of a large construction site from the inside: The logistics, with which hundreds of construction workers have to be coordinated, and the steady growth of the stadium all the way to the perfectly conceptualized illuminated structure, with VIP-boxes, mass restaurants, and Europe’s largest parking garage.

The documentary takes the completed renovation of the building as an occasion to bring the magnificent architecture to life; at the same time, it focuses on the countless momentary encounters when the paths of commuters and flâneurs cross.

Energie Cottbus, a small soccer club from the periphery of the republic got promoted to the first division of the Bundesliga. Everyone was sure: They will get relegated immediately again! But everything turned out differently! The underdog club gave Cottbus - which was to many only known from scare stories about lack of prospects and unemployment – joy, hope, and pride. The film looks behind the scenes and shares the thrill of the people for the finale of the season.

Es war einmal, vor vielen Jahren, da begab es sich, daß der heute so ruhmreiche FC Bayern zu Beginn der neuen Saison ziemlich miserabel dastand: Der Kaiser war fort, kein neuer Pokal schmückte die Trophäensammlung, und statt Harmonie und vollen Konten drückten Frust und Schulden die Stimmung. Und justament während dieser für den Verein so wichtigen Bundesligarunde 1978/79 konnten die Filmemacher Christian Weisenborn und Michael Wulfes die damals noch aktiven Spieler Paul Breitner und Uli Hoeneß dazu überreden, sich eine Saison lang von ihnen mit der Kamera begleiten zu lassen.
