Full-length documentary about this very decisive moment in time for the future when ETA is apparently ceasing their violence. Using first-hand testimonies by people whose lives have either revolved or are still revolving around the consequences of the Basque 'conflict', Teri Ortega takes a close look at Basque Nationalist roots and offers spectators a group of experiences, emotions and stand-points that allow us to glimpse the end of suffering and hopes for peace, freedom and reconciliation. This is the Director's third full-length film about this particular subject in the wake of 'Assassination in February'(2001) and 'Persecuted'(2004).

Since the birth of the first outbreaks in the spring until harvest in autumn and winter pruning, "The Cathedrals of Wine" portrays the landscapes, architecture and human stories that come together around the wineries, in two regions represent types of wine and very different cultures: Rioja and Jerez. The film presents real characters, whose daily activities intertwine in assembling and giving us a deep overview of the wine world.

February 1, the 72% of the census has voted. Narrowly wins "Frente Popular". Since that moment, differences between right and left quickly pass from words to deeds. Soon, a militar conspiracy led by general Mola starts, and get the collaboration of chiefs that the Government of the Republic has shifted to peripheral locations: including Franco. Calvo Sotelo and Lieutenant Castillo are killed. The 'Dragon Rapide' flies from London to pick up Franco. The North African troops raise and the war becomes unstoppable.
