Sweden, 1849. A poverty-stricken family decides to move to America in the hope of finding a better and more prosperous life. Although they know the journey will be dangerous and the pressure of facing a new life in a strange and wild land is great, they are determined to succeed.

Norwegian remake of the 1973 Czech film "Three Wishes for Cinderella" by Václav Vorlícek. Since her father's death, Cinderella lives with her cruel stepmother and spoiled stepsister, who treat her like a servant in her own house. During one of her daily escapes to the forest, Cinderella prevents a couple of men from hunting, amongst them the handsome Prince of the kingdom. Cinderella and the Prince immediately feel attracted to each other, but he is expected to find a suitable bride at the next royal ball, which Cinderella is not allowed to attend. Equipped with a great deal of courage and empowered by her three magical acorns, she decides to stand up for herself and determine her own fate. Will she be able to break free from her stepmother's tyranny and find true love?

The movie tells the story about a girl who has to hide and survive from a right wing terrorist while looking for her little sister during the terrorist attacks in Norway on the island Utøya, July 22nd.

Detective Katrine Ries Jensen and legal psychiatrist Thomas Schaeffer form a special unit at the Copenhagen Police investigating serial killings. A case from Schaeffer’s past crops up. As a young psychologist, he held back from sending a patient, who was manically drawing the details of a traffic accident, to a secure hospital. Now these bloody scenes resurface, enacted as real killings.

Until Fredrik suddenly appears. He's interesting, attractive and mature; all in all quite perfect for Maria. Finally there is a reason to believe in love again. But then Jonas appears. He's charming, very funny and 25 years old. Maria starts to lose her control, and falls in love. This all gets very complicated when her ex-husband Lasse returns, demanding full custody of the children.

Sveins best friend is the hooded rat Halvorsen, everyone else thinks rats are nasty. Svein and his buddy Dan is quite alone until the new girl in class suggests they take their roots its in the big pet contest. The problems come when Halvorsen runs away, and the newspapers write that both the hospital and the school must close because of an invasion of rats. Svein must make sure that no mom and dad find out that it's Svein and Halvorsen, who is to blame for all the fuss, because he might end up losing both Halvorsen and the opportunity to win the competition.
