Shih Szu
Birth : 1953-10-24, Taiwan
History
With parents coming from Hunan (Henan), originally named Lei Qiu-Si, Shih Szu was born in Taiwan. She joined Shaw Brothers in 1970 and appearing as a martial arts heroine. Acclaimed by a wide range of audience, Shaw Brothers regarded her as the next Cheng Pei-Pei. As such she appeared in many martial arts movies which included "The Rescue", "The Lady Hermit", "Heroes of Sung", "The Villains", "The Bloody Scape" and "Lady of the Law" etc. Her agility and skills established her position as one of the top female martial arts stars. After starring in "A Deadly Secret" in 1980, she left Hong Kong and continued her filming career in Taiwan. She retired from the limelight in early 80s.

Lady in brothel
Don't expect a long life if you are one of the emperor's fourteen sons! For instance, Ninth Prince meets an "accident" while hunting. The (unnamed) Manchu emperor is old and ill, and speculation about his successor is rife. But the powerful Lord Long, who is not a son of the emp, wants the throne as well. To stay alive, Fourth Prince keeps secret his kung fu lessons and plays the fool. Fourth Prince then leaves palace life to live among the poor. He befriends a ragged band on commoners and, eventually, returns to the palace to prevent Lord Long's rise to the throne after the last prince is killed.
Lai Pei-ling
Peter Lan, a seasoned gambler, returns from abroad to find that his family has been destroyed by the treachery of the unscrupulous Alfred Wong, who has cheated Peter’s father out of his fortune and driven him to suicide. While Peter is tying to track down Wong, he befriends a fellow gambler, Barry Sung, who is working for Rex Hu. But in a twist of events Hu and Wong are one and the same. The only person who can stop Peter getting revenge on the man who killed his family is his new best friend!

Princess
Former Shaolin man Marshal Kao takes his former classmates prisoner and, instead of executing them, proposes to his Qing commander that he torture them until they're willing to fight on behalf of the Qings. The 'torture' comes to look increasingly like strenuous kung fu training with Kao putting the prisoners through their paces. The Qing governor and his aides become suspicious of Kao's motives, although the beautiful Princess Shao Lung develops her own ideas about him.
Ling Seung Wa
A treasure hunt sparks the continuing violence in this Hong Kong action film, yet the film does not focus only on the violent nature of some of the characters. An enamored Ting Tien (Pai Piao) spends a cold winter's night waiting to spot the love of his life, Ling Shuang-hua (Szu Shih), when she makes her usual morning excursion onto her balcony. A knife expert arrives to tell the ruler he is to be invaded during his annual knife skills challenge. He coaxes his old enemy (a deaf, blind old man) out of hiding. In return he grants the hero the prize of the knife skills. He then goes off and has lots of fights with people, and makes friends with a woman who is pretending to be a man for unknown reasons.

Liu Yinxu
Leaving behind an inch of sword in the spent corpses of his opponents, Tuan Changqing is known as the Deadly Breaking Sword. After barely surviving a duel, one of his foes is treated by the diabolical Dr. Kuo, who uses his powers of mind control to transform the man into a somnambulistic killer. After Tuan Changqing teams up with Rabelaisian gambler Xiao Dao, the story proceeds as a comical kung fu buddy flick.
Shaw’s superstar, Chi Kuan Chun stars in this brilliant sword film from ace Director Chang Peng Yi, as a sentimental swordsman who tries to give up his sword and leave a quiet life, but constant challenges in the martial world prevent him from doing so.
Kao Jo-hsueh
Two men meet as old friends but leave as new enemies. Before plans can be expedited the fight starts. As the title clearly gives away, only Shih Szu survives. Shih Szu alone makes the movie worth watching. She has the looks and the moves. The storyline strongly supports her motivation.

Mrs Zu

Taking considerable liberties with the historic record, the film has Polo turning up as an Imperial Inspector assigned to root out Chinese rebles in the south, but eventually being won over to their cause.
Tang Li
Gu Hui, a member of the ‘Wolf Head Gang’ becomes unhappy after their new chief decides to abandon their old code of conduct. After the chief kills a travelling family and kidnaps the daughter, Gu frees her and escapes, hiding out in a nearby town and trying to start a new life as a humble shoemaker. Unfortunately, the gang refuses to let him go and put a bounty on his head, forcing him to face up to his responsibilities.
Guan Xiu-Zhu
Director Chu Yuan was one of the new breed of directors at Shaw who raised the bar of martial arts films, by adding compelling storylines and a good dose of drama. Despite being without his regular cohorts Ku Lung and Ti Lung here, Chu shows his master stroke as he delves into the dastardly ways of evil warlords in China back in the 1910’s. Drama and action both take centre-stage as Tsung Hua and Ching Li fall prey to a lecherous general (Stanley Feng Tsui-fan) who rapes and forces the latter to become his concubine. With the help of two street performers (the deft and agile Chen Kuan-tai and Shih Szu) he once helped, Tsung hatches a plot to save his beloved – with deadly consequences.

Jiao is framed for rape and murder (and, later, two more murders) by Chen and his son - the same people who framed Jiao's father and left him orphaned. Into the mix comes THE LADY OF THE LAW, Miss Leng, whose job it is to find the guilty. This she does, and she and Jiao find themselves battling pretty much everyone else who's appeared in the movie up to this point.

Cui Ping
A young Kung Fu student seeks a reclusive teacher so that she may learn to defeat the evil Black Demon. She doesn't realize that the servant woman she befriends is actually the kung fu master she seeks. After Black Demons henchmen attack, the master reveals herself and eventually takes on the student to train her so that they may both defeat the villian. A love triangle complicates things when another student asks for training as well.
