An Egyptian actor, born on 27 June 1931 in the village of Noosa El Gheit, Aga district, Dakahlia Governorate.
His family moved to Cairo where he completed high school, and joined the Faculty of Law, but his passion for acting prompted him to leave the college and join the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts.
After graduating, he joined the Egyptian theater theater group, with whom he played (Something in My Chest), (Thief and Dogs) and (Very Stormy Night).
While he was presented to the cinema about 72 films, the most important of which are: (between the two) 1962, (Al-Madaq alley) 1963, (We do not plant thorns) 1970, (Song on the corridor) 1972, (The night of the capture of Fatima) 1984, (Innocent) 1986, (Dancer and politician) 1990, .. and others.
He also participated in several TV series, such as (Cairo and Al-Nas) 1972, (Zainab and Al-Arsh) 1979, (Tears in the eyes of brazen) 1980, (Bekiza and Zaghloul) 1986, (Conscience of Hikmat Abla) 1991, (Layali al-Helmiyyah c4) 1992.
He died on 3 December 1992 in Cairo as a result of high blood pressure, brain hemorrhage
