Several characters coincide during the Christmas holidays in the winter season of Saint Moritz.

Police commissioner Lo Gatto is in charge of the local Italian police station within Vatican State. During an investigation, following the murder of a Vatican priest, he decides to question the Pope! For this reason Lo Gatto is sent to a Sicilian remote island Favignana. There is very little for the commissioner to do on the quiet island, so Lo Gatto decides to investigate the vanishing of a tourist which quickly becomes a very complicated affair.

Inspector Rizzo and Marshal Caputo go to Egypt and look for Professor Cerullo, who is missing.

With a showdown inevitable, Sartana and Sabbath square off to settle the score.

Ciccio loves very much the novel Satyricon of Petronius Arbiter, although his friend Franco does not understand him.

Sartana is falsely accused of robbing a bank, and must find the real robbers and clear his name.

Franco and Ciccio embark on a journey to find Pirate Flint's lost treasure, hunted by the fearsome Pirate Blackbeard.

Sicily 1943 to avoid war, Franco and Ciccio are hiding in the mountains. Two American paratroopers steal their clothes leaving him in exchange uniforms, so our "heroes" are captured by the Germans and deported to Germany. Evade, take refuge on a farm and will be involved in mishaps chain. After the war, they thought dead, are safe and sound, up there in Germany.

Franco, singer in search of success, falls in love with Marisa. But she walks away from him to stay close to her sick cousin.

Two fellows from Sicily go to America thinking that they will find gold . For their bad luck in California they meet the brave Zorro who is protecting the helpless people. They have to help him which is followed by a lot of adventures and funny moments.

On his way back from the Civil War, Johnny Hamilton is visited in his sleep by the ghost of his father who lets him know that he has been murdered and who asks him to avenge him. Back in the family ranch, Johnny finds that not only has his father been killed but that Gertrude, his mother, has married her late husband's brother Claude. The latter is now the owner of the ranch and of all the properties of the deceased. Polonius, a ruthless bandit, is supposed to have killed Johnny's father. But couldn't it be Claude...?
