When his son dies while hiking the famed Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route in the Pyrenees, Tom flies to France to claim the remains. Looking for insights into his estranged child’s life, he decides to complete the 500-mile mountain trek to Spain. Tom soon joins up with other travelers and realizes they’re all searching for something.
A young man and woman are running a phony fortune parlor. One day an attractive young woman enters their parlor to get her fortune read. The man makes his usual behind-the-scenes telephone call to learn of the young woman's background while his female accomplice lays down tarot cards. It turns out that the young woman comes from a very wealthy family. The man now decides to use the young woman in a dangerous scam to extort money from her rich parents.
A couple is attacked bu thugs and the woman is killed, the boyfriend plans his revenge.

Another woman joins the duo and soon the ex-priest is learning more about the human heart and suffering than when he wore robes.

Rosario, the niece of the rancher, returns to the ranch after ten years of absence. She takes in Margarito, a worker at the ranch, who is immediately smitten by her. Rosario is rescued from a runaway horse by the Seven Men, an outlaw a la Robin Hood that steals from the rich and gives to the poor. He also happens to be the twin brother of Margarito, unbeknownst to him. The confusion between Margarito and the Seven Men generates great comical situations in the film.
