Isamu Hirabayashi (平林勇) is a Japanese film director who directed the Shimajiro films Shimajiro and Fufu's Great Adventure 2013, Shimajiro and the Whale's Song 2014, Shimajiro and the Mother Tree 2015, Shimajiro in Bookend 2016, Shimajrio and the Rainbow Oasis 2017.
He also made short films including Octopus 2015, Babin 2008 and Little Shimajiro 2016.
