Kryštof
Frontier

Their aim is to find him and cover up the event. When the child's father refuses to cooperate, the incident becomes insurmountable and the officers start to mistreat the refugees. It is a fairly harsh short film about human emotions and views against immigrants.

Zoufalé ženy dělají zoufalé věci
Orest
Milada
Karel Sváb
The story of communist show-trial victim Milada Horáková. Horáková was one of the first victims of the communist regime in Czechoslovakia. She opposed the communist coup in 1948 but did not leave the country. She was arrested and tried for treason on fabricated charges in a show trial that was broadcast on the radio and shown in film clips. The film focuses on the time from 1945 to 1950 when the communists took over, but also goes back a little further in Horáková's life into the late 1930s
The Zookeeper's Wife

The House
Jakub
Stone by stone, Imrich is building a small house for his daughter Eva almost entirely on his own. But for Eva, who is about to graduate from school, the prospect of moving into the house is about as appealing as being imprisoned in a jail she herself has helped to build. She has very different plans for her future...
The T-Shirt
Tomas Dubcek
An American man walks into a small store in Slovakia. At first he's happy to find a fellow fan of baseball and the Stars and Stripes on the wall. On his way out, his eyes fall upon the t-shirt the store clerk is wearing and his mood changes dramatically.
We Have Never Been Modern
Sympathetically modern for its time - it was 1937 - is the approach of a young factory director in the middle of a growing Bata-style town in the picturesque foothills of the majestic Tatra Mountains. But make no mistake, the protagonist is his wife Helena (Eliška Křenková). However, the determined gaze of the aspiring doctor, who is about to give birth soon, into her dream family future is suddenly overshadowed by the discovery of a dead body of a newborn baby in the courtyard of the pulsating factory. Helen's innate empathy, amplified by another condition, is not satisfied with a conspicuously quick solution to the mystery. A gripping detective drama with a progressive and deeply human take on a controversial subject not only just before the unsuspected war but decades later.
