History

Bart (1984) studeerde in 2009 af aan de toneelafdeling van het Herman Teirlinck Instituut. Tijdens deze opleiding kreeg hij les van onder meer Dora Van Der Groen, Frank Focketyn, Steven Van Watermeulen, Robby Cleiren, Peter Gorissen, Jan Bijvoet en Stany Crets. Hij volgde stage bij Bad van Marie (AC Ransart), Laïka (Tot in de woestijn) en Olympique Dramatique (Adams appels), toneelgezelschappen met wie hij nog steeds nauw samenwerkt. Samen met enkele ex-studenten richt hij het theatergezelschap FC Bergman op. Hun voorstellingen De Thuiskomst, Wandelen op de Champs Elysées…, 300 el x 50 el x 30elworden bekroond met respectievelijk de Jong Theater Prijs van TAZ 2010 en met de selectie voor het Nederlandse Theaterfestival 2010. Naast verschillende gastrollen in TV-reeksen als Code 37, Aspe, LouisLouise, Super Acht en Salamander, speelde Bart in de langspeelfilm Adem (Hans van Nuffel – 2010) en vertolkte hij een hoofdrol in Frank van Mechelens langspeelfilm Groenten uit Balen (2011).

Wandering through an abandoned ward the boyfriend stumbles upon a young woman, gagged and strapped to an operating table; she is the result of an experimental rejuvenation treatment. He frees her, but does not realize he just caused the outbreak of a virus that will change doctors, patients and his mother-in-law into bloodthirsty zombies.
