Jean Clarieux (April 3, 1911 – February 11, 1970) was a French film and television actor. Generally a supporting actor appearing in smaller parts, he played a more substantial role in René Clément's 1946 resistance film The Battle of the Rails.
His tone of voice as Parisian titi is very recognizable in many American films of the 1950s and 1960s where he lends his voice to complementary actors (especially in war films and westerns), but also to Anthony Quinn. He lends his voice to Captain Haddock in a cartoon series on the adventures of Tintin directed by Ray Goossens.
Beyond the dubbing, his filmography is important: he notably plays a railwayman in La Bataille du rail by René Clément, and it is his weathered face that appears on the poster of the film. In Golden Helmet by Jacques Becker, he plays the role of Paul, alongside Raymond Bussières. He also acted for television in the 1960s, notably in the series Les Cinq Dernières Minutes by Claude Loursais and in Les Beaux Yeux d'Agatha by Bernard Hecht.

The fire captain
Story is primarily based on the adventures of Antoine, a young telegraph messenger on his second night of work. He is given three telegrams, one of which is for the president of the Camber of Deputies. Excited, Antoine runs his bicycle into a truck and loses the telegrams. What follows is an amusing and agonizing search for the missing messages. He is assisted first by a glum, wise-beyond-her-years little girl, Amelie; an off-duty police superintendent, a schoolmaster, a cookie-tin maker and a fireman. The harmonica musical theme is played by Flore Falvey.

Henri Forneret
In 1914, in the first months of World War I, Louise Jarraud loses her husband, killed on the front. Shortly after, she gives birth to a baby, who soon dies. Devastated by this double misfortune, Louise decides to dedicate her life to caring for the children of others. She becomes a nurse with several employers, giving her affection to little boys or girls. A widower and another man propose to her but she refuses twice determined as she is to live only for the children in her charge.
Five young people - brothers, sisters, cousins - are on vacation in the countryside. Pernette suggests to Marianne, who wants to be appreciated by her cousin Olivier, to make him jealous by inventing an aviator in love. At this announcement, Olivier bursts out laughing, but an airman knocks on their door, his private plane having had a breakdown. The mirage then becomes reality, and thanks to this unexpected visit many feelings will come to light.
