Yana Toboso

History

Yana Toboso (枢 やな, Toboso Yana, born January 24, 1984) is a Japanese manga artist. She was born in the city of Warabi, Saitama Prefecture. She currently lives in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Her blood type is O and she is Aquarius. Her most representative work is the manga Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji), which has been adapted into anime.

Set in the year 2020, Shiori Genbo runs the large corporation Funtom. Shiori is also a descendant of prestigious noble family Phantomhive of England. As a descendant of the noble family Phantomhive, Shiori solves difficult cases which are ordered by the queen. In order to take revenge, Shiori makes a deal with Butler Sebastian. Their deal involves Butler Sebastian protecting Shiori until her revenge is fulfilled and then Sebastian will consume her spirit.

Original Story
England, the 19th Century. The almighty butler Sebastian of the Phantomhive House: the "evil nobles" that are contracted to perform Queen Victoria's "underground" work. His true form is that of a demon. According to his contract with his young Master Ciel, a proudly independent boy who faces his cursed fate head-on, he becomes Ciel's shadow and cleans up the incidents that occur in the underground society.
