Billy Haven, a young rancher, accidentally discovers that clay found on his ranch will, when mixed with water, become the most beautifying mud-pack cosmetic that any young girl, or old woman, could desire. Then the land-grabbers, clay-speculators, cosmetic companies and a show girl or two show up to get a piece of the action.

Glenn Tryon and Patsy Ruth Miller, headed the cast of Universal's Painting the Town. In his first starring role, Tryon is cast as bucolic inventor Hector Whitmore, who falls for flirtatious city gal Patsy Deveau (Miller). Misinterpreting her fluttering eyelashes as a sign of true and lasting love, Hector follows Patsy to New York, much to the dismay of the girl's wealthy fiance.

Wimpy sailor boy Billy Epsom has just arrived from New Guinea with a guinea pig in a box for his sweetheart. But today's newspaper headline reads, "Guinea Pig With Deadly Germs Roaming Our Streets". Billy causes havoc at the Yellow Cab stand when a cabbie catches sight of his cute little "piggy". Billy sets out to see his girl at her father's mansion. On the streetcar, he takes the guinea pig out of its box. Soon passengers and driver are diving off, and the runaway car is gaining on a dynamite truck!

In a small western town, a man meets a girl whose father is a land agent. To please her, he buys a plot of land from her father. Next thing he knows, he's mixed up in a plot to drive him off his land.

"Stinky" Smith makes off with the prize money when his buddy, "Knockout" Hansen loses a fight with Percival "Sailor" Scruggs. Hansen pursues him him a U.S. Navt recruiting office, and, the next thing they know, both are in the Navy and aboard an overseas transport ship. Madelyn Phillips is on board and Scruggs is the the ship's Master-of-Arms. They overhear a mysterious conversation between Madelyn and the ship's radio officer. Later, Madelun induces the pair to take her off the ship and into a row boat. She disappears and they are picked up by a French ship, which sinks a German U-Boat. When the war ends they learn that Madelyn was an operative of the U.S. Secret Service.

Meanwhile, Hairbreadth Harry observes the whole scene, and he hides the money for Belinda. But while Rudolph keeps Harry and Belinda occupied, his henchmen are already going about the job of stealing the money.

Two rich capitalists want to marry their children, but they don't like the idea at all. She tries to run away, and meets him at the station. They fall in love, unbeknownst to their real identities, and decide each on their own that they have to wreck their parents plan.

With a little-known director and second-string cast, the two-reel Moonlight Nights is typical of these low-budget independent productions. The comedy’s plot is not much: Told by his exasperated father to find a job, a klutzy rich kid named Art (Joe Moore) follows a bevy of dancers to their nightclub, where he tricks the maître d' into hiring him as a waiter. No guest proves safe from Art’s clumsy antics, but the shapely cabaret performers, led by Mademoiselle Fifi (Gloria Joy), dance on in the ensuing chaos.

Dan Webber, a sailor in the U.S. Navy who has been away from home for many years and presumed dead, returns to his farm to find that his family is about to be evicted. Dan's sweetheart arrives with a baby who, unknown to Dan, is actually the child of his younger brother and the sweetheart's sister.

Stan plays a kind hearted tramp whose love goes un-requited in this sweet short film from 1925.

Dan (Kenneth MacDonald) knocks out the foreman (Boris Karloff) at his workplace so the foreman accuses him of stealing money from the company safe. Dan takes off to visit his girlfriend when they're attacked by a man who Dan eventually knocks out with a single punch. A boxing manager see this and signs him up.

Notorious crooks "Hairpin" Annie and Sea Bass steal a suitcase on the train and discover that it is filled with scenarios. Its owner, Egbert Winslow, agrees to write a screenplay about the underworld with Sea Bass's help. Sea Bass, seeing a chance to expose a pal who has double-crossed him, describes "High-Shine" Joe and some of his underworld activities. Joe sees the film in a South American theater and recognizes himself. He goes to the motion picture studio determined to kill Egbert Winslow, but bank president Peyton, who has been robbed by Joe, appears simultaneously with the police and saves Winslow.

This is another comedy, in which trick photography plays a large part. It is a travesty on the temperance question, siding with the dry element. On the refusal of the Governor to sign a bill in favor of the liquor interest, the political boss tries to force the executive to his will. The Governor, after a series of thrilling experiences, thwarts the efforts of the politicians. The latter calls on Lady Baffles, who impersonates the Governor's wife and secures the executive's signature to the bill. Amateur aviator Harold McNutt's hopes of taking flight result in an escalating series of high jinks.

Banker Shultz has not had a vacation for over thirty years. His doctor advises a rest or a breakdown will soon result. But it is impossible for Shultz to leave the affairs of the bank a moment. At last he hits on a great scheme. That of getting his friend, Detective Duck, to impersonate him.

First episode in the Lady Baffles and Detective Duck one-reel comedy series. The city is being terrorized by a mysterious female Raffles. At last, in desperation, the chief of police sends for his friend, the famous sleuth, Detective Duck. While these two are sitting in conference, Raffles, in her search for loot, enters the home of Mrs. Gotta Millun. Raffles' eyes sparkle as she takes in with delight the rich Oriental knick-knacks and furnishings. Mrs. Millun is a connoisseur. Raffles hides under a table when Mrs. Millun comes in. Mrs. Millun has just received a gift from her brother in far-off India. It is a jewel case containing eight beautiful and rare pearls as large as hen eggs. In a note accompanying them her brother explains that the jewels were part of the loot of the Britishers when they raided Oski Wow Wow, and that they were taken from a famous Indian Princess who had sworn eternal vengeance on all who thereafter possessed them.

On this certain afternoon in the year 2014, Mrs. Jones, and her daughter, stock brokers, advertise for a first-class stenographer. Charles Van Doren, a defenceless young man, striving to make a livelihood in the big city, and at the same time retain his good name, calls on Jones' daughter, and is at once accepted as the new stenographer.
