Payu is a humble countryside singer, but when he goes to Bangkok, he gets the chance to become a famous Luktung superstar. However, the glamorous life isn't quite what he expected and perhaps the life upcountry wasn't so bad after all.
The soundtrack to a radio soap opera set in a luxury hotel is acted out by characters who are riding a ramshackle bus from Bangkok to a small town in Thailand’s Northeast.
