Arnut and Hala are drug dealers who were brought up by a gangster's family and are now selling amphetamines for him in Bangkok. Arnut likes Hala's girlfriend, Piangdao, so he informs the police about a deal they are doing so Hala will be arrested. He tells Piangdao he was killed by the police during the deal. However, he is really in prison where his cellmate tells him of a cave on the Burmese border that he can find gold buried by the Japanese during the war and also get magical powers if he goes there. In the meantime Arnut convinces Piangdao to poison the boss of the gang. He takes over all his operations and then sends her to work in a brothel. Hala gets out of jail and finds out everything. He gets the magical powers and gets very rich and then decides to settle the score.
Narudom
In this Thai rendition of the traditional vampire tale, Narudom comes across a strange being in the vacant, eerie castle given to him by his family. Intrigued by the object's power, Narudom sets out to discover more about it, only to have a sadistic vampire named Mekin rise from the dead and wreak havoc on his life and his new home.
Set in Isaan, this is the story of a mother who struggles to lead her needy family through seemingly endless hardships and pressures. To help the family survive, the father endures greedy capitalists who heartlessly take advantage of him and his family, forcing him to slave at the harvest of an infertile field. That is until he loses both his arms. Then all the burdens fall on the mother: bread-winning, taking care of her crippled husband and raising the kids, all amid external pressures from drought to vile businessmen.
