The film grapples with multiple issues, but primarily the changing nature of love and its impact on the twin institutions of marriage and family.
Mohan's Mother
Vishal ,Mohan and Tushar have lost a big amount in fake scheme which promised to double the money.After failing to get help from the cops Vishal raids the den of Bhalya who ran the scheme and runs away with the money by faking death of Mohan and Tushar.Bhalya finds Tushar is alive an takes him to his boss Sampatrao Mahabal.Vishal and Mohan reach Sampatrao's place where he tells Vishal to kill Mohan and Tushar in real or return his money.To escape from Sampatrao,Mohan comes with a fake scheme that they will give him 50 Crore in 30 days.Sampatrao agrees to this and keeps Tushar captive until they return with the money and sends his brother Rajan along with them to keep an eye on their whereabouts.
Dr Ramchandra Sare has achieved everything in his life.But his family doesn't have time for him his wife Janaki is busy attending kitty parties where as is son Lakshya and daughter Kishori are only spending his hard earned money.Chandu is best friend of Ramchandra who earns his living by driving an auto rickshaw but lives a peaceful life with his wife Chandini and son Rahul.Chandu and Ramchandra once go for boating where Ramchandra drowns in the lake.
Gangadhar Chaudhary's Wife
Thakur Gangadhar Choudhary rules a small community in rural India with an iron hand, and will never permit anyone to speak up against him. He owns most of the land surrounding his palatial home - save for the small patch of land owned by Veer Singh. He summons Veer to his house, and offers him substantial compensation for his land, but Veer refuses, and the Thakur has him killed. Veer's widow dies of shock, leaving behind a young Suraj to be brought up by a kindly widow Mrs. Salma Khan, who is also the mother of Iqbal. Years go by, Suraj grows up joins the Indian Armed Forces, and after a meritorious career, he resigns and returns home to avenge his father's death. What he does not know that he must first come to terms with the local Police Inspector Iqbal Khan, and then the wealthy Collector of the District, Rajpal Chauhan, before he can even think of touching a single hair of Gangadhar Choudhary.
