Om Simon
Robby disapproves of Doyok, his only son, becoming an artist. He sends Doyok to Yogyakarta to continue his studies while staying at the home of Uncle Simon (Robert Syarief). Doyok talks his friend Kadir into posing as Doyok himself and going with him to Yogyakarta. Once Kadir is accepted into Simon’s household as Doyok, it becomes very clear that the discipline there is really tough because Simon was formerly a member of the Indonesian Armed Forces. In the meantime, Doyok meets up with Rina (Yayik Artikandi), his girlfriend, who gets him a job as a taxi driver. However, this masquerade is uncovered when Robby shows up in Yogyakarta to check on how his son Doyok is doing.

A sad story meant to reduce the audience to tears. The cordial relationship between Irawan (Robert Syarief), the father of Yohana (Nike Ardilla), and Rini (Ade Irawan), the mother of Johan (Rano Karno), is disrupted due to Pak Irawan’s disapproval of the relationship between Yohana and Johan. In the meantime, Johan, who plays music with the older brother of Yohana (Sigit Subangun), attempts to prove that he is worthy of her. He enlists in the Indonesian Armed Forces along with Yohana’s brother. They are sent to East Timor. Just before he leaves, Johan is shocked to find out that Yohana is pregnant from rapes occurring during her recent abduction. Yohana later dies in an accident, but her child survives. Johan requests that his mother, Rini, take care of the infant Yosiana (Fitria Cintania).

Dono (Wahyu Sardono), Kasino (Kasino Hadiwibowo) and Indro (Indrojoyo Kusumo) get lost and end up on an island where the only occupants are beautiful young women, except for the tribal chief (Tile) and his three obese daughters. Dono and friends are forced to flee the island when the chief decides they have to marry his daughters. Back at home, Dono meets up with Merry (Fortunella). As usual, Dono and Kasino, along with Indro and Merry, Winny (Kiki Fatmala) and Nia (Sally Marcelina) end up on the beach surrounded by lovely young women in bikinis. The relationships of these three pairs are extremely volatile. Suddenly, as man dressed in Arab garb, accompanied by bodyguards, shows up claiming that Merry has been designated as his wife in an arranged marriage. Kasino defeats the bodyguards, who end up in the hospital. The comedic scenes then shift to the hospital and eventually back to the trio’s home again before the film’s end.

Hara (Robert Syarief) does not approve of the relationships of his daughters, Rosa (Lia Waroka) and Ira (Kiki Fatmala), with Kadir (Kadir) and Doyok (Doyok Sudarmadji). However, eventually, because the persistent young men appear to be serious, Harja eventually agrees to allow Kadir and Doyok to prove that they are financially independent enough to make it on their own. The two young men then scramble to try to find a way to make some money. First, they try working in a bakery, then they gets jobs as cooks, and then at a poultry farm, etc. They fail at everything they try. A sub storyline tells about Abud (Fuad Alkhar) who is extremely eager to get married.
Ikut-Ikutan
The story of the love of Doyok (Doyok) and Kadir (Kadir) for the sisters Rosa (Ayu Azhari) and Ira (Kiki Fatmala). The young women’s family does not approve of their relationships, so the two men try to figure out a way to get around this. This manipulation continues as Rosa and Ira join their parents for a family holiday in Puncak. Doyok and Kadir show up in Puncak posing as a rich man and his son who are looking for land to purchase. In the end the orchestrations of these four lovers are found out

Isabella (Nia Zulkarnaen), Indonesian girl who settled in Malaysia, fell in love with Amy (Amy Search), pemuzik rock. Due to the appearance of Amy as pemuzik rock, love their opposition by Isabella father (Robert Syarif, Ida Kusuma), which is affected by the riots news rock performances in Jakarta.
Tjoet Nja' Dhien

Set in 1896, "Tjoet Nja' Dhien" celebrates one of Indonesia's great heroes who fought for independence from the Dutch. The pious Muslim people of Aceh, a city that had flourished since ancient times as a trade port, enter into a fierce war with the Dutch. Tjoet Nja' Dhien, the widow of a rebel leader operating in Aceh in Sumatra, assumes the leadership when her husband Teuku Uma is killed in an ambush. Dhien's charismatic presence and power of survival motivate the locals to join and later continue their opposition to the Dutch. Despite personal obstacles, she remained in the thick of the struggle for ten years.
In Love
Although Ayu has been honest, Sutra is continuously haunted by the fact that Ayu was not a virgin when they married, even after five years of marriage. As a result, Sutra always faces problems in having sex with his wife. Then when he finds out that Ayu met her old friend, Manaseh, Sutra becomes increasingly suspicious and his mental state grows unstable. He himself has a relationship with Rhoda Darsono, who has a very possessive nature. This disturbs Sutra, who only wants to have fun with her. Just when Sutra starts to realise his mistake, he is murdered.
