Just like in the film, the musical's immersive story begins with a death notice that becomes the starting point for Fanny Zander's search for her roots. Together with their faithful, extravagant companion Zac, they leave the nightclub life of Berlin to make their way home to the small village of Yxared, located deep in the forests of Västgoth. Their grand entrance into the small community becomes a culture clash that stirs up emotions among the villagers but also creates new, lifelong bonds.

To survive, he fled into a fantasy world where he was the super hero Little Light - a boy who could spread light across the world. He was dreaming of becoming someone else - an actor. Can he tell his story without harming his loved ones?

But everyone is not having fun, Dag is fleeing from the cruel circus director Machiavelli. With the help of his new found friends Anna and Morgan he manages to escape to Circus Imago. But Machiavelli does not intend to give up the chase so easily.

‘E-e-emil!’ shouts father across the small farm in Katthult, the boy is up to his old tricks and will have to be banished to the woodshed. Except that Emil doesn’t see this as punishment – on the contrary: he locks the door from inside so that he can continue undisturbed to carve another of his wooden figures, of which he has a whole collection. His little sister Ida also wants to sit inside the shed, but she’s too well-behaved. This new adaptation of Astrid Lindgren’s beloved tales from her book ‘Emil of Lönneberga’ portrays the sunny side of life in the country at the beginning of the twentieth century.

Single mother Lotta and her younger sister Sanna are both successful in their different jobs, and are living very different lives, but are attracted to men who are their opposites.
