Sandrão became known in the São Paulo Rap scene in mid-1987. Together with Helião he formed the group RZO, quickly became an icon of Brazilian Rap due to his intelligent lyrics. Considered in 2005 one of the best rappers in the country, according to the Rap Nacional website.
