Frank Washington

History

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Frank Washington was an American basketball player. Washington was a 6'4" guard from Wilberforce, Ohio. Washington played for the New York Rens from 1941–42 before joining the US Navy. In 1945, he played for the Washington Bears. Washington was part of the first Harlem Globetrotters team to travel around the world. Washington was a member of the Harlem Globetrotters from 1946 to 1950. His daughter Michelle Washington was also a basketball player. Washington died in 2013 at the age of 91.
