Released from jail after a twenty-year stretch, Nazim returns to Istanbul to find life in turmoil, his family life ruined, and has to deal with a series of personal disasters in the process.

In 1959, a new comic actor, Feridun Karakaya starts a series with Cilali Ibo (Ibo, the Polished One) and becomes popular around the 1960s and 1970s. Cilalı ibo Teksas Fatihi (Cilali Ibo the Texas Conqueror) is a parody/pastiche of the Western genre, scripted by Osman F. Seden.

The abandoned Fosforlu sing and dance in the streets to survive. She run into the once famous singer Kemal, who now is blind and have lost his memory. The two start to perform together. A surgeon enjoying their act offers to help Kemal out of his misery.

One of the earliest Turkish films to display lesbianism, it tells the story of three women in Pasha's harem and a newcomer. The film was attacked by fundamentalists, who destroyed the reels during the screening at the Antalya Film Festival of 1966.

The two young people, who started to get to know each other, decide to meet face to face after long letters. The woman sends her sister instead of herself.
