On the day three planets Neptune, Uranus and Saturn align in a straight line, when the time is in the zodiacal period of Capricorn, a strange phenomenon occurs over the skies of Earth. A torrential downpour of meteorites cascades into the Earth’s atmosphere.

A handsome young man from Bangkok is sent to an upcountry town to try and stamp out corruption. He falls in love with the local beauty, the eldest of three sisters. However, the course of true love never runs smoothly, and the couple have many obstacles to overcome. Not least is the girl's shotgun toting, over-protective father who demands a dowry of one hundred million baht.

Set in early King Rama V era, former British soldier Peter Bain is busted for trying to sell defective firearms to influential Chinese merchant Yang. Forced to hunt wild game with these firearms along with Yang's men, Bain links up with ex-monk Wan and Karen-American hunter Julia, who he meets on the way to the jungle. The group sets off to hunt an elephant, said to be protected by a ghostly tigress that can transform itself into a woman. The tigress is supposedly possessed by the revengeful spirit of Nian, a woman who was tortured and killed in the King River Battle almost a century earlier. As Wan learns more about the tigress myth, he tries to release Nian's spirit, but Yang's men want to destroy Nian and get the elephant. With greed, resentment, and karma from past lives encircling the group, violence is surely around the corner.

Sarapee and Pun inherit a beach mansion from Luang Narubal, the husband and benefactor they betrayed and left to die in sorrow. The two now decide to move in and turn the mansion into a hotel in order to make some money. Twenty five years pass. Sarapee is has already died. Her two children from her marriage to Pun, Parinya and Patama, are now grown-ups and return from abroad to look after the hotel. After renovating it, the mystery begins. Deaths occur over and over again, and sometimes Parinya and Pattama witness them. It isn’t long before the only two people left to uncover the mystery and fight to stay alive. Who is this mysterious murderer?
