Laurence
Top actor Zheng Zhi (Shin) and Nina (Gillian Chung) are starring together in a movie about a poor man romancing a rich girl. Filming isn't going so smoothly, however, as director Mandy (Li Xiaoran) keeps picking apart Zheng Zhi's acting. It turns out that Mandy and Zheng Zhi are actually former lovers, and the movie's plot is their own story. Meanwhile, Chuan Zi (Yu Shaoqun) joined the production as an extra in hopes of reuniting with Nina, whom he believes is his childhood sweetheart. Nina, however, already has a rich and handsome boyfriend.

Snake Prince (Ti Lung) is wandering with his snake buddies when he happens upon a beautiful maiden (Lin Chen-Chi) singing a prayer for rain. The song soon turns into a funky dance with the whole drought-blighted village, so the prince and his pals assume human form and join the party. The prince is so smitten with the maiden that he offers to share the snakes' river with the village if he can marry her. Fanny
A group of down-on-their-luck robbers pull off a spectacular job - only to find themselves hunted by cops and possible betrayers! Chan Koon Tai leads the diverse pack of criminals, which also includes such Shaw Brothers luminaries as Ngok Wah, Chung Wong, Ling Yun, and a young Danny Lee in one of his first featured roles. The group pulls off the robbery in action-packed fashion, but betrayal and the relentless police end up marking the five robbers for death.
