Direct report of the national arrival of Sinterklaas that will take place this year in the municipality of Hellevoetsluis. Mayor Milène Junius will welcome the Good Saint and his Pieten in this fortified town on the Haringvliet.

Merel, a single midwife, is done with men, but her biological clock is ticking inexorably. And yes, she gets pregnant. However, the whole family suddenly seems pregnant. Her 60-plus father Piet has just become a father again with his young partner and her 23-year-old niece Eva is also expecting. Annet, Merel's older sister, who suffers from the empty nest syndrome, has a husband Theo who only wants to travel because he thinks is too young to become a grandfather.

Three young guys with disabilities want to go on a party holiday in Salou, just as their friends do. Only their parents block this idea. But then a caretaker, found on the internet, makes the dream possible. Adios Amigos is a remake of the Belgium movie Hasta La Vista.

When Kees (42) and his two children, Roos (12) and Willem (6), stop at a gas station for a quick toilet break, they all shortly separate and go their own way. In this short period of time, each of them witnesses something which makes them think about themselves. The young Willem accidently witnesses a couple making love in the bushes and doesn't know how to deal with this. Roos, a real 'tomboy', starts thinking about who she wants to be, after another girl confuses her for being a boy. Kees, a divorced man, thinks he has a flirt with a younger woman. When he finds out she wasn't flirting at all, he realizes that he has entered a new period of his life where he has to find his place. The three characters separately all experience a small tilt in their lives.

Sylvia has turned a blind eye for too long to husband Eddie's flourishing drug business. When his dealing takes a (deadly) turn for the worse, however, her need to protect the lives and futures of her young children compel her to flee. But Eddie will stop at nothing to keep his wife inside the ‘family'.

Dokter Vogel is a short surrealist film with computer animations and special effects in which a boy comes round too soon after a tonsillectomy and mistakes the throat specialist for a cacodemon from his narcosis dream.

By accident, Luc discovers the whereabouts of his brother Ad, who mysteriously disappeared fifteen years before. As it turns out, he is living with Els, secluded from the rest of the world, on a farm. Luc decides to stay a few days, even though he and his wife Mieke are not welcome at first. After a while, Mieke heads home. Also, Luc hears strange sounds coming from a barn at the farm. He decides to investigate the matter. He discovers a secret that Ad and Els have been hiding for years.

The format of the 'real' television news is imitated, where storylines are presented in fragments as reports.
