Larry Yang is a Director, Screenwriter, Actor and Art Designer. He was born as Zi Yang in Baoquanling, Heilongjiang, China. His career started as an actor in a short horror film "Dimension 13". Yang represents the new generation of bi-cultural talent in Chinese film, having honed his craft by earning Master's degrees in Film from both the Beijing Film Academy and the University of Edinburgh.

With only six months to live, due to a bullet in his head which could not have been surgically taken out, Walker decided to leave Vancouver, where he grew up, and go back to China to look for his biological parents and twin sister(Jule).
