Some of his credits include the film Second Sight, and episodes of EastEnders, Spooks, Inspector Morse, Casualty and the American series Close to Home, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, The Mentalist, The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and Fringe. He attended Churcher's College.

As he enters his teenage years, Laurie (now played by Joe Roberts) discovers women, specifically Rosie Burdock (Lia Barrow). Veteran screenwriter John Mortimer adapted Lee's book, with Lee narrating.
