Albania 1997. Some ghostly, deteriorated video footage keeps Julien awake and obsesses him every night. Almost two decades after the murder of his wife, Angela, Julien returns to Albania with a determination to investigate her mysterious death, amidst a sea of impossible records, police files and visions of Beyond.

Maniac Tales tells the story of Juan, a Mexican illegal immigrant in New York, who is offered a job as a doorman in an old building of the city. It turns out that the screenwriter of "Maniac Tales", a very popular TV series, lives in the building but has disappeared with the script of the last chapter of the season, and a reward is offered to whoever can find that script. Juan decides to look for it, and when he gets into the screenwriter's apartment he finds out that the TV series hides creepy secrets which are related to the building.

Jack wants to prove to his wife Alma, that he is a new man after his drug abuse and time spend in prison. He is offered new job as a night watchman of an old mine complex, which he accepts without a question. What no one knows that the dark place holds a disturbing secret that will fill their lives with terror.

Encarna, a thirtysomething girl of Móstoles (Madrid) is trapped in a life without changes, at the side of her lifelong boyfriend and with a job absent of incentives. Stigmatized by the famous Spanish sketch of the "Empanadillas de Móstoles", Encarna looks for a way to escape her boring life.

A group of friends are having a party on a boat. In the distance, a small town watches them in silence. Suddenly, one of them is seriously injured and the group approach the village for help. No one attends, the few inhabitants they find order them to be quiet and disappear into the darkness. The group split for help and strange and terrifying things start to happen, some of them are killed in terrible circumstances. Those who still live, increasingly terrified, discover the reason for all these murders. If they want to leave the village alive and the house where they are locked, they will have to survive in absolute silence.

Three vignettes, "The Domino Players", "The Secret Miracle" and "point of View," are linked by telephone conversations being surreptitiously listened to by Marcos, the main character. Navigating the fine line between comedy and tragedy, "107 Street" not only richly illustrates the particulars of ethnic life in one pulsating New York City neighborhood, it explores that world's universality.
