Taking place at the Concentration camp Buchenwald at the end of March 1945, prisoner Hans Pippig discovers in a carrying case of an incoming prisoner a Jewish child. If reported the three-year-old is sure to die. On the other hand, a violation of the rules of the camp would threaten the long prepared uprising of the concentration camp prisoners against the SS.

Wolf is a lonely boy who surrounds himself by a world that responds to his desires. He brings Clara, the girl he loves, inside this world but when he can't be sure if she is still real or become imaginary he feels trapped and wants to escape.

They live in what appears to be an infinitely accelerated state of data and information, to which the young Leipzig filmmaker Alexander Biedermann adapted for the time of the film. In doing so, he managed to gain astonishing insights into a scene that the “common user” would otherwise never get to see.
