After the death of his wife, Yukio has become more and more paranoid, believing that he is being followed and watched at all times. Yukio's late wife, before her death, was seeing and sleeping with another man. Not only did Yukio know about the affair, he would watch them have sex. Unbeknownst to his wife, his peeping on her became like a fetish. As the film progresses, Yukio goes to see a counselor to try and figure out his phobia and discover his deep repressed thoughts about his wife. In comes Akemi, Yukio's ex-girlfriend from almost a decade prior. Akemi is unhappy with her marriage and seeks the warm embrace of Yukio, which only furthers his descent into madness.
Kiriko is a beautiful woman working in a quiet hot spring town. The owner of the inn, Goro, is attracted to her beauty and asks her out, but she refuses. Meanwhile, Imai, a detective staying at the inn, recognizes Kiriko's face and investigates her past on his own.
A middle-aged man walks up to young man who is sitting under a tree and shoots him. The film then flashes back to 1981, where a young woman steals a car with a baby strapped inside. She decides to raise the child as her own, and teaches him to shoplift from stores while she works as a prostitute. She strikes up a relationship with a convenience-store clerk, and the two eventually settle down together.
Asako and Tomoko, who live next door to each other in a certain apartment complex, are housewives who frequently chat with each other. Asako, who is on good terms with her husband, Keiji, tells Tomoko about their nightly activities, and Tomoko, who is in a lull with her husband, Shinpei, envies her for it. One day, Keiji and Shinpei, who had never even exchanged greetings before, happen to hit it off and go out for a drink together. There they meet a pair of office workers...
about a Japanese lady that gets abducted on her way back to her apartment, and endures hours of rape and mind-fiuck games at the hands of some of Emperor Hirohito's cruelest motherfuckers. And, it being Japanese, of course the heroine comes to be defined by this horrifying event.
Nakamoto, who works at a real estate agency, enters a vacant apartment without permission and begins to peep into it. By chance, he finds an apartment building where a TV reporter lives, and eventually starts playing pranks on the phone. One day, the woman comes to Nakamoto's real estate store as a customer .......
It's a tribute to The Doors, but it's not just a tribute to them, it's also a criticism of rock stars who die too easily.
