At Full Throttle
Director of Photography
Fifty-something former miner Jaroslav has always dreamt of a career as a race car driver. In a congenial and jovial manner, he represents not only the charms and struggles (especially economic) of southeastern Moravia, but also the ever more visible chasm between city and countryside. An uncommonly charismatic portrait of a man struggling with the traumas of the past who, with disarming directness, clings to the promise of good luck and a dignified life alongside a new partner.

Coolture
Director
A funny, ironic but also serious film about the meaning and state of Slovak coolture. Coolture has become one of the other components of the store. As a result, its quality has been subject to commercial interest much more than before '89, transforming it into a number of more easily digestible genres of questionable quality. Even though there has been a socio-cool relaxation, our coolture is still looking for its identity. It is difficult to orientate this cool teenager. New media and the Internet have become the most widespread form of its dissemination. There has been a dramatic outflow of viewers from traditional cool-hearted events. New cool-life phenomena have emerged in connection with lifestyle change. How does the Slovak coolture look like today (official distributor text)
Comeback
Director
Spending years behind bars changes a person. For Miro and Zlatko, two Slovak inmates, the world "out there" has slowly lost its enticing luster: "You have to reeducate yourself, they won't do it for you," says one of them. Will the road to freedom have a happy ending or lead back to a gloomy cell?
Arsy-Versy
Director
The film is a story of a mother and her son Lubos who lives in a world turned upside-down, or, arsy-versy. Lubos broke free from the world as generally conceived by others to arrive at the supreme human-nature symbiosis; he flew away to a planet purely inhabited by butterflies - intelligent beings. The sole focus of his life energy, enriched by a great deal of empathy, is being channelled into his amateur photography and film making, the climax of his fascination with natural phenomenon being his unique study of bats. By way of communicating with the upside-down creatures he is fascinated with, he attempts to achieve the utmost understanding between man and beast. He is assisted by his mother who has been a great research and life.
