History

After graduating from Stanford University in 1932, Thor Putnam studied art at the Chouinard Art Institute before beginning his career with Walt Disney Studios. He joined the Navy in 1942. While in the service he supervised the production of 37 Navy training films. After his discharge in 1946 he returned to Walt Disney Studios. -IMDB
