On an uninhabited island off the Mexican Pacific coast, members of the army do their uneventful duty. The film watches drills and everyday routines, but mainly the breaks which they spend playing board games in the shade of trees, in hammocks, swimming, flying kites or doing karaoke. The peaceful environment, however, does not hide the violent reality of their country which they are always confronted with, even out here.

The blazing heat of 90's summer in Buenos Aires raises the hormones of adolescent cousins who spend their vacations, like so many others, without doing much. Surrounded by a dysfunctional upper-middle-class family environment in decline, they play at mimicking assigned roles in their own family. This game takes them to a situation that puts them on the edge. Will they be discovered or will the family continue to see what it appears to be?
Script Supervisor
Nicolás, a photographer, has suffered epilepsy since childhood and he is forced to take care of himself and sacrifice a lot, though he lives a normal life. On the other hand, Isabel is a woman who, apparently, has her whole life figured out although her mother is ill and she has no choice but to try to save her. Isabel and Nicolás fall in love in spite of themselves, their demons, their ghosts, and their weaknesses. Suddenly engaged in a relationship none of them would have even dared to imagine, they experience the love, passion, insecurity, fear, and allergy to commitment typical in people who are drifting away.

Three friends have a special mission: find some keys lost in a pile of dead leaves. It may seem a simple task, but it will turn into an odyssey when it confronts them to their fear to grow up. This afternoon, as trivial as it may sound, could change the course of their lives.
