The story takes place in Qinghe Altay, Xinjiang, a small county surrounded by mountains. Wang Caixia, a little girl in rags and with an abscess on her head was looking for her lost elder brother Wang Yunhui. She was so lonely and homeless that Anipha adopted her. Now Anipha and Abibo have 19 kids in their family, but they still fight on with hope.
Wang Xiao Nan, a 24-year-old Chinese performer of Korean folk dance, is shaken when her mentor and grandmother, Chen Xiu Zhen, gives her the thumbs down during the semi-final of a dance competition, despite the praise of the judges.
