The formation of a city named Tehran goes back to 200 years ago. Before that it was a small village resting between surrounding mountains. Many political and social events have happened in this course of time that all have left their trace on the walls of this city. Nevertheless, since the inception of the Islamic revolution in 1979 to now, written slogans on the walls and murals have experienced different forms and concepts. These events range from Revolution, Iran-Iraq war, economic reconstruction period to Reform and 2009 uprising.

The atmosphere is dreamlike, the characters have no name, neither the streets. Teheran is the only character whose name is constantly evoked. A lawyer, as many others, works and lives alone in his apartment, which is both his office and his home. In a cold and rainy day, a man burst into his apartment, speaks to him shortly and confusingly and gives him a package that will completely change his life. They eat without looking at each other, not even speaking. The Adventure of the Married Couple (Based on a story written by Italo Calvino) is a poetic variation on the daily routine in black and white.
