A look at Puerto Rico and its cinema through films, documentaries, and commercials from the early twentieth century to the emerging cinema of today. Visual and narrative strategies portray fragments of Puerto Rico's general history and, in turn, answers the questions of who, when, and for whom have films been made in Puerto Rico and the resources that are available to do it.

There has been a grave massacre within a highly successful insurance company in Puerto Rico. The owners, a married couple, have been slaughtered along with their employees. While the police are investigating, a private investigator, Isabelo, is hired. The investigation takes place in an underworld of frayed relationships and foul connections. It is a detective story that revolves around unforeseen secrets dealing in the occult and certain passions that only appear to spawn loathing.

Although go-getter Ricardo Martín heads the company, Lucía is ready to move up the corporate ladder, calling upon her smarts and her wiles to make her dream come true. A comedy narrating the adventures of ten Puerto Ricans looking for a better life. The film centers on an airplane trip to New York during 1960's. It relates in a comical, yet poignant manner, the array of reasons each of the passengers has for leaving Puerto Rico and the challenges they face as suggested by the interactions of the Anglo crew and the passengers.

Film interpretation of the story of the writer Luis Rafael Sánchez bearing the same name. A man and his wife have lost various children. When he learns his wife is pregnant again, he decides to murder her, fearing they would lose another child.
