In post WW2 Venice Italy, American Army Col. Richard Cantwell, haunted by the war, is a bona fide hero who faces news of his illness with stoic disregard. Alma’s family has been producing quality olive oil in the Baix Maestrat area of Spain’s Castellón for generations.
