Hello Democracy
Director
Hello Democracy shows a very personal snapshot of Tunisia during October 2011, when the first free elections in the country's history took place. After 24 years of dictatorship Soukaina and Beshir need to reorient themselves. The idealistic student Soukaina fights for democracy as a member of a political party, while Beshir, the streetwise waiter, just fights for the future of his family.
