While visiting a friend at the hospital, Momo, a jobless comedian, meets Michel, the director of an unpaid clown's association, who visit sick children. Thanks to Michel's support and belief, Momo sets himself a new challenge : make the children laugh, despite their illness.

A sunny day in the country. A family of animals find a good place for a picnic. Nearby, another animal is grazing peacefully. But the bucolic atmosphere of this picnic rapidly degenerates.

A young man opens the window of his attic room and discovers a lunar landscape which submerges him and threatens to imprison him in an eternal sheet of ice. He closes the window to escape this vision and hears from deep inside his soul the sound of a poem being sung.
