A man who gave up on living in despair with society and himself. Mai, a high school girl, is involved in a confinement incident caused by the man. Mai's classmate, Ujiie, who caused a violent incident and lost her whereabouts. Set in a small port town a little far from the city center, a confinement incident triggers the gears of the three characters, depicting the moment when people with difficulties in life take a step forward.

The big New Year's Eve. A painter who has lost his wife while studying in the U.S. tries to complete a portrait of his dead wife before the New Year, but he just can't get the eyes right. Then he has a fateful encounter with a woman named Lynn, who resembles his wife, at the airport. The two of them get into a tuk-tuk, a three-wheeled cab known in Thailand, and embark on a journey to finish what they both want to finish. The two gradually become attracted to each other, but at the same time, their hidden pasts are revealed.

A marriage is weaker without something in common. Sayoko (SHINDO Manami) is a seemingly carefree woman but she hides doubts about her marriage behind her cheerful demeanour. After five years of being in Tokyo, it is apparent that she has little in common with her husband and so she begins scoping out apartments which is how she meets Yohei (YOSHIMURA Kaito), a real estate agent who is nursing a broken heart. As they tour properties, Sayoko's girlish charms work their magic on the downhearted man and she convinces him to look for the wife who abandoned him but their journey brings the two closer.

Tamogami (Muro Tsuyoshi), an employee of an event company, meets YouTuber Yuri-chan (Kishii Yukino) at a blind date. Tamogami takes pity on Yuri-chan, who is struggling with her view count, and begins to help her with her YouTube channel without asking for anything in return, as if he were a "god. Despite the fact that the number of subscribers is slow to increase, they work hard to stay positive and become good partners. One day, through the introduction of Tamogami's colleague Umekawa (Tatsuya Wakaba), Yuri-chan meets popular YouTubers Chorey and Kabigon (Kaito Yoshimura and Awari), and their "physical" collaboration video suddenly gets a lot of buzz. Yuri-chan also met handsome designer Allen Murakami (Shuntaro Yanagi), and quickly became one of the most popular YouTubers. Tamogami, on the other hand, does his best to help her, but his videos are lame. He is a nice guy, but he has no sense of style... The story takes a turn for the worse when a love affair is about to begin...!

The stage of this work is Saitama, a suburb of Tokyo in the early Heisei period. Immediately after the bubble burst gangster countermeasures law, there were gangsters who defended the last territory and young people who freely controlled the city. The youth conflict escalated day by day and became a force that surpassed the yakuza, and the runaways were sent to juvenile prisons one after another, where exclusive rules awaited.

A four-part film done in the unique style of each director, Matusbayashi Urara gives a portrayal of a struggling actress named Machiko who lives in Kamata. Machiko is the central axis of the movie as the film comically depicts what it means to be a "woman" and an "actress" in society through showing the patterns of life as conducted by her and the people that surround her.

Nagisa is transgender. She grew up in Hiroshima as a man, but now lives in Shinjuku, Tokyo as a woman. Due to an incident, she begins to live with middle school student Ichika, who is a distant relative. Ichika has been neglected by her mother Saori. A man and five other brave power plant workers are sent to fasten a bolt to prevent radiation leaks. Scene two: 2013. The man is now cleaning the empty houses surrounding the nuclear plant. But the strange atmosphere starts giving him hallucination... Scene three: Christmas, 2014. A woman in a red car crashes by the garage where the man is working. The woman looks just like his wife, who died in the tsunami.

In 1974, Morikazu is 94-years-old and his wife Hideko is 76-years-old. They live at a house in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The garden at their home is full of trees, plants and insects. Morikazu paints pictures of the creatures in his garden and also observes them. This has been his daily routine for more than 30 years. Morikazu and Hideko entertain visitors every day including a photographer and the couple living next door.

Set at a time where entertainment like music, movies and novels are all banned. Mizuto and Tokio work at a factory making screws. Their lives are monotonous. One day, they discover a place where music has been preserved and they are attracted to music. They learn of “Sanoba Noizu” where music is performed secretly and dream of going there. They meet Hikari whose father was killed for having music.

When friends graduate from junior high school and are enrolled in high school Koichi and Yakko join a motorcycle gang. They make new friends, have fights and flirt with girls. This film is set at a gas station service station. While the manager, Chikasugi (Yoshimura Kaijin), and a part-time worker, Takarai (ozono Mana), are having an incomprehensible conversation, a novelist, Nemori (Okabe Takashi), comes to visit, accompanied by a nurse, Shimeno (Kinoshita Akari). Nemori tells Chikasugi that he and Chikasugi are half-brothers, and asks Chikasugi to sue the hospital over "rumors of medical mistakes" concerning his father, who is hospitalized in a vegetative state.
