Kiran Merchant

History

Kiran Merchant is film and television actor, director and producer. He is an alumnus of Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab of New York. In 2010, Merchant and Genevieve Castelino co-founded the Chakra Media Group, a film and corporate video production company. Merchant holds a Bachelor’s in Architecture from L.S. Raheja School of Arts and Architecture in Mumbai, India and a Master’s in Urban Planning from the Pratt Institute in New York. Parallel to his career in the entertainment industry, he has over 30 years of experience in aviation planning, design and construction management in large-scale aviation projects. In 2005, he founded Merchant Aviation, an aviation consulting firm.
