HAIM: Glastonbury 2014

The trio of sisters who grew up in California listening to their parent’s collection of 1970s classic rock spent much of their childhood as part of family cover band Rockinhaim. Breaking free from their parents they formed HAIM along with drummer Danny Hutton and in 2013 released the anticipated debut album Days Are Gone. If past, highly acclaimed, performances are anything to go by they are sure to tear up The Other Stage with a riff-heavy set of pop-rock hits. Weave your way through the festival and enjoy Haim’s zesty passionate personalities paired with stadium showmanship and not forgetting Este's awesome bass face.

Sisterly love abounds when HAIM take to the stage. Bringing Californian bluesy rock back in to fashion, these girls nabbed the coveted Sound of 2013 top spot earlier this year and recently gained a whole new stack of fans after a stunning performance at Radio 1’s Big Weekend. Influenced by musicians as varied as Britney Spears and The Strokes, they started life touring in their parents' band and accomplished a dream by playing The Park Stage at Glastonbury 2013.
HAIM at Glastonbury 2021
Much to the dismay of music fans everywhere, Glastonbury was cancelled for the second year running in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, that doesn’t mean that there wouldn’t be any performances at all, and instead organisers Michael and Emily Eavis organised a virtual event from the site in Pilton, Somerset. Filmed across Worthy Farm including at iconic locations such as the Pyramid Field and the Stone Circle, the livestream took place in May 2021 and supported Glastonbury’s three main charitable partners Oxfam, Greenpeace and WaterAid, as well as helping to secure the festival’s return in 2022.
