Kosovo, 2019. Corruption and unemployment have made it impossible for Shpëtim to find a job. Things get more complicated when he has to take care of his daughter as well, and does not have a proper place to live. After many attempts to solve his situation, and experiencing repeated deceptions, Shpëtim decides to migrate to Germany illegally in his search for a better life.

An average stray dog has 99 percent of wolf's genes and it's a natural born hunter. But they forgot how to hunt when humans brought them to civilization. Now they are left on their own in the unmerciful hands of the public shelter hunters who kill them and throw them in the river.

Sarajevo Songs of Woe is a filmic triptych containing of the two tales (“Blue Ballad for Lovers” / “Blue Rondo for Survivors”) and the connecting middle part “Blue Psalm for Wolves” flowing into each other and so being united and building up one universal mosaic of life situated in Sarajevo.
