When an evil land baron's son murders an innocent family, a Marshall is called in to escort him to be executed in the court of law far to the north. Qiuxiang is molested by debt collectors because of her father's debts. Fortunately, Li Shihong and his wife Yingmei rescue her while they pass by. They hire her as domestic helper. Shihong travels to Thailand, while Qiuxiang takes care of the pregnant Yingmei.

A Taiwanese language film. There are rich Hong Kong twins. Younger of them murders his brother-in-law and nephew. 18 years later, the relatives want revenge.

Bun-de (Wen-de in Mandarin, played by Shi Jun/Shih Chun) is a shy young man. Aggressively courted by all the girls in the neighbourhood, he only has eyes for the pretty and mischievous Gui-kia (Jin Mei/Chin Mei). She finds every means possible to meet up with her boyfriend, although he is closely watched over by a very protective father, A-Gao. When the parents finally agree on the wedding, they realise that they used to be in love. Accusing each other of betrayal, they refuse to allow their children to marry. Bunde and Gui-kia decide to elope.

A paratrooper Kiyohio (played by Ke Junxiong) meets a beautiful tour guide Shumei (played by Bai Lan). The two hit it off and fall in love, but she'd already promised engagement to a childhood friend off at war.
